At Crumbles Cafe & Bake Shop In My Hometown Of Santa Maria, CA With My Momma...!!! We Were Quickly Greeted And Seated At A Close Booth. Our Waiter Took Our Drink Orders And It Was EASY We Both Asked For HOT BLACK COFFEE With TONS Of SUGAR...!!! Quite A Few People Here All Chit Chatting Away Waiting For Their Meals. I Ordered The Chile Verde With Scrambled Eggs And Refried Beans, And Flour Tortillas. My Mom Ordered The Side Order Of Biscuits And Gravy, And A Side Of Hash Browns As Well..!!
Great food! I came to Crumbles for the first time and enjoyed the depth of the menu. Service was a little too casual; waitress kept forgetting about me. I was solo getting the "oh yeah whoops" treatment in between tables of 2-4 people. I ended up getting their breaded French toast, a speciality of theirs. Very interesting and very good! I will come back soon to try the pies they're known for.
Visited here recently after the Manager from Shaw's took over management here. It was crowded on a Sunday but we only had a short wait. We ordered a variety of both breakfast & lunch items. Everything was well prepared & tasty - good, solid fare. And their pies are worth the trip. We haven't been here for a while but with this new management, I'm sure things will be running smoothly soon.
Great food and service! Definitely gives the breakfast diner vibe and old fashioned style. Food was great and prices very fairly!
